Of all the NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops shipping this month, the ASUS ProArt P16 packs the most memory into the lightest 16-inch body: up to 128GB of unified memory in a laptop that weighs 1.77 kg and is 12.9mm thin, the thinnest 16-inch ProArt ASUS has made. It opened for pre-order on October 7, 2026 and is available in the US from October 16 through the ASUS eShop, Best Buy and Micro Center, which carries the 128GB model.

This is the second of three articles on the most important NVIDIA RTX laptops arriving now.

Price: check before you order

US prices do not agree yet. ASUS’s US page says “starting at $2,599.99”, while Tom’s Guide and other outlets list $2,799.99 for the base model. PC Gamer reports about $4,500 with 64GB and about $7,000 for 128GB with 2TB.

Why it matters

For our readers, the ProArt P16 is the laptop version of the machines we cover on the desk. RTX Spark is a sibling of the GB10 chip in the NVIDIA DGX Spark and the ASUS Ascent GX10, and with 128GB the P16 is a portable large-model inference machine with CUDA, competing with Ryzen AI Max+ 395 laptops such as the ASUS ProArt PX13 and mini PCs. ASUS is also preparing a companion ProArt GR1X mini PC (150 × 150 × 51mm, 64GB or 128GB) for later in 2026.

What we do not know yet

  • Independent benchmarks and battery tests: none before the October 16 ship date.
  • The power limit ASUS uses, within NVIDIA’s 45 to 80W range for RTX Spark laptops.
  • Memory bandwidth, which NVIDIA has not published for RTX Spark.
  • Software compatibility: this is Windows on Arm, so check your creative apps and games.

Our take

If you want a thin 16-inch laptop with a top-quality OLED and enough memory to run large AI models locally, the ProArt P16 is the most compelling RTX Spark design on paper, and lighter than the Surface Laptop Ultra and the Dell XPS 16. The high-memory versions are very expensive, so wait for the first reviews before buying the 128GB model.
