Every report on this site starts with a public consumer complaint — a Trustpilot review, a Reddit thread, a forum post, a YouTube comment, an Amazon review, or an official quality notice from the brand itself.
Before a report is published, we require a minimum of three independent primary sources that describe the same failure pattern. Where only one or two sources exist, the report is marked "Tentative" and clearly labelled as such.
Direct quotes are copied verbatim from their source and linked. We paraphrase only to summarise, never to exaggerate.
We email the brand for comment on reports where the company has not already issued a public statement, and we publish their response when received. Silence is also reported.
Good-faith correction requests from any party — including the brand under review — are reviewed within seven days. Where a factual error is demonstrated, the report is updated and the change-log noted at the top.
