The Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition is the first XPS built on NVIDIA RTX Spark, NVIDIA’s Arm chip with a Grace CPU, a Blackwell RTX GPU and shared memory. Dell announced it on October 7, 2026; Best Buy is taking pre-orders now and units ship on October 16, with Dell.com sales “soon after”. Of the RTX Spark laptops, it has the biggest battery and the fastest memory Dell lists, and also the highest starting price.
This is the third of three articles on the most important NVIDIA RTX laptops arriving now. Related: Dell XPS RTX Spark Desktop: specs, release date and price.

Price and availability
Only two US prices are public, both at Best Buy with 32GB:
- $3,799.99 with 512GB
- About $4,000 with 1TB
The 64GB and 128GB versions, the 20-core chip and the 2TB and 4TB drives have no published price yet. We found no Amazon listing.
How it compares
The Surface Laptop Ultra and the ASUS ProArt P16 start at about $2,600, but with 24GB of memory; the XPS starts at 32GB, which narrows the gap. Tom’s Hardware notes that Dell is charging the largest premium of the launch laptops. The XPS is heavier than the ProArt P16 (2.02 vs 1.77 kg) but has the larger listed memory speed and a Gen5 storage option.
What we do not know yet
- Independent benchmarks, thermals and battery life: none before October 16.
- Prices for 64GB and 128GB, the configurations that matter for local AI.
- Dell’s power setting within NVIDIA’s 45 to 80W range.
- Software: this is Windows on Arm. Dell says Blender, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop and Premiere run natively, and that Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye are supported, but check your own apps and games.
Our take
The XPS 16 Creator Edition looks like the most premium RTX Spark laptop: a calibrated tandem OLED, the largest battery and up to 128GB of fast memory in an aluminum XPS body. But until Dell prices the 64GB and 128GB versions and reviews arrive, it is hard to recommend over the cheaper ProArt P16. We will update this article when those prices appear.
